About Tanner Clark
Jazz Funk
Tanner Clark has a wild passion for art and education. Inspiring others to be bold, fearless, and successful are the driving forces behind each of his classes.
From San Diego, California, Tanner Clark began his professional hip hop dance career at the early age of 16. His work includes performances on television shows like The X Factor, The American Music Awards Red Carpet, and Two and a Half Men, as well as commercials for brands like Kohl’s and Paul Mitchell. Tanner has also been fortunate to work with many musical artists including Mariah Carey, Justin Bieber, Jack Ü (Skrillex & Diplo), Fergie, Prince Royce, Snoop Dogg, Fifth Harmony, One True God, and most recently Rihanna at the Super Bowl LVII Halftime Show.
In 2017, Tanner made the decision to step away from the industry in Los Angeles and move to Phoenix, Arizona where his teaching career began. Since then, education and choreography have been his two main focuses. In 2019 Tanner’s choreography was recognized by Poreotics—Winners of America’s Best Dance Crew Season 5—who brought Tanner on as their 7th member. Since then, they have performed nationwide, including at private events for the likes of Leonardo DiCaprio, Jamie Fox, Toby McGuire, Jonah Hill, and others. Additionally, Tanner spent 2021-2023 touring the country with LA Dance Magic as their sole hip hop instructor, and now travels with Hollywood Connection teaching Jazz Funk and Hip Hop choreography.
Tanner continues to perform across the country with Poreotics, and teach both locally and out of state.
